The Problem:

You are near the end of three years in middle school. Doubtless,

during this time you have wondered “Why can’t something be changed?

Why does it have to be this way? Why is this rule so stupid?”

You are now being asked to select a school related issue you feel

strongly about, but one that you still have questions about.  You need

to collect more information in order to make an informed presentation on

this topic.  The critical questions you need to ask and answer are:

1.      What is your issue?

2.      What is your thesis on this issue?

3.      How does this issue affect others?

4.      What can be done about this issue?

Your presentation should not be a report.

These questions should help you focus your research and your presentation.
